Nestled in the heart of Dublin’s vibrant Temple Bar district, La Caverna Restaurant and Wine Bar offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the area’s rich cultural heritage and lively dining scene.
Our restaurant is housed in a building over 350 years old, full of history and character. Many of the original features have been beautifully preserved — including our unique Wine Cellar Dining Room, which is connected to an underground network of historic cellars once used as escape routes during the Irish War of Independence (1919–1921). The original stone walls still standing today add a special charm that speaks to the building’s storied past
