Driftwood Coffee Cart

Home for the Driftwood Coffee Cart is Strandhill, Co. Sligo, though we do enjoy a nice wander now and then. We sell fabulous 100% Fair Trade, Organic & Rainforest Alliance certified coffee from our colourful little cart. We also serve a gorgeous selection of certified Teas & Hot Chocolate. The van itself is something to behold, click on 'Our Cart' button above and you'll see what we mean! The business was set up after the birth of our first daughter in 2013. Jessie is from Sligo and grew up on the side of Benbulben, but nowadays our little family lives under the shade of Knocknarea. The Coffee Cart is pretty adventurous and is available for all kinds of events, including: food & music festivals, weekend events, weddings, private parties & sporting events.

Eddie Lee is an Irish landscape and portrait photographer based in Sligo. The inspiration for Eddie’s work comes primarily from the wild Atlantic coast where he has spent all his life, and Sligo’s Neolithic landscape of mountains, lakes, hills, valleys and cairns regularly features in his work. Eddie is also passionate about night sky and astrophotography, taking advantage of the few clear nights the west of Ireland offers up. Eddie’s work has been acclaimed far and wide, from actor Chris O’Dowd to Astronomy Ireland magazine, and his prints and canvases hang on walls in several continents including the Irish Embassy in Bucharest. A successful musician all his life, Ed describes his full-time pursuit of photography in the first Covid-19 lockdown of 2020, as “bit of an epiphany – it was like I’d been waiting for this chance to be free to go and photograph the night sky and the Sligo landscape. I know it’s been on my doorstep but I’d always been otherwise preoccupied!”

K9 FIT are fully Garda vetted and fully insured. K9FIT can also run with your dog/s if they are a high energy breed. We have specialised bungy running leads which means its safe and secure and your dog will enjoy the experience more than a regular lead. The distance can be discussed to suit your dogs needs. K9FIT also specialises in working with dogs that are overweight and need those extra walks during the day while you may be at work.

An only child born & raised in Co.Clare, I adored roaming the fields with friends ( many lands were visited & kingdoms discovered) in those Clare hills ;) ) but the quiet times were as cherished & many hours were spent drawing by the range. Money was tight but my inspiration for my art comes from those years of simple living, in an old cottage, organic fruit & veg ,chickens & ducks, compost toilet, summer meadows, rickety campervan but ........wonderful memories.

The Market is a weekly event open to the public where you can support artists, food producers & crafters in a community atmosphere.

It operates out of the unique venue of Hangar 1 at Sligo Airport in Strandhill, just a few short minutes stroll from the beachfront.

Every Sunday from 11am to 4pm the market opens its doors selling an array of local crafts, foods and textiles.

It is a fusion of speciality food with stalls specialising in European and Asian cuisine. You will also find home baked goods, fair trade coffee, freshly pressed juices, cheeses, herbs & spices, teas, and fresh meat and vegetables.
